Attention 8th grade students. VBHS official open house event welcoming the next generation of Fighting Indians will be on March 24, 2026, from 5:00-6:30. This exciting evening invites incoming students and families to experience the pride, spirit, and tradition that defines the school community. Students will have the opportunity to meet staff, explore academics, activities, and athletics.

Our Cafeteria Travel Adventure was a huge hit! Students had so much fun participating, and we even had a couple of big winners. A big shout out to our amazing cafeteria staff — they are the best! Our students love the fun and creativity they bring each week.

Last night, Mr. Sturgeon had the privilege of speaking with our 8th grade families about the Pre-IB program at SRHS. He shared how the program challenges students academically while building confidence, critical thinking, and a strong sense of community.
